Simmons’ offensive progress continued this week, as the junior led Southeastern in scoring in both of its games this week, averaging 15.0 points and shooting 60 percent from the floor. On Wednesday, she had 14 points and eight rebounds as the Lady Lions snapped a four-game losing streak with an 81-30 win over UNO. She netted a season-high 16 points on Saturday versus Stephen F. Austin.
