Nichols hit safely in all four games for the Southeastern softball team this week, hitting .364 with a home run and six RBI. In Wednesday’s 9-5 win at Southern Miss, she homered, drove in three runs and scored two more. She also drove in two runs in Sunday’s season finale. Nichols’ strong final week capped a sophomore season that saw her lead the team in batting average (.358), runs (27), hits (54), doubles (nine), RBI (21), slugging percentage (.517) and sacrifice hits (nine).
