Reached on an infield single in the second inning of Friday’s game to pass former teammate Ty Summerlin as Southeastern’s all-time leader in hit with 277 … fifth-year senior hit safely in three of four games during the week and helped Lions to series win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi … went 2-for-5 in the Lions’ midweek game at Tulane before opening the A&M-CC series with a 2-for-4 performance … already the school’s all-time leader in runs scored (202), at-bats (883), games started (214) and triples (16), Hargis tied the school record for games played (216) with Summerlin and former Lion Joe Labruzzo.
