A two-time All-Louisiana selection, Chelini opened the 2011 season in fine form. In singles play, she handled Vera Shkundina, 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1. At No. 2 doubles, she teamed with freshman Raissa Dias for an 8-6 win over Agatha Palider and Therese Lagerkvist, 8-6.
