In Southeastern’s lone game of the week, Gibson poured in a career-high 32 points off the bench to lead the Lady Lions to an 80-73 win over Southland foe Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Making 11 of 16 of her field goal attempts and 10 of 11 free throws, Gibson more than doubled the highest single-game scoring output by a Lady Lion this season. Her output was the highest by a Lady Lion in Southland play since Dacia McGowan scored 35 points at Nicholls in 2004-05. 22 of Gibson’s points came in the second half, as Southeastern erased a 12-point deficit.
