Normal starter on Saturday pitched his first complete game in over a year, scattering nine hits and allowing one run in a 10-1 win over Southland Conference leader Texas State on Friday … improved his record to a Southland Conference-best 7-1 on the season, recording his second complete game of his career and first since defeating Eastern Illinois in the Lions’ second game of the 2009 season … retired the Bobcats in order in the fifth inning and was aided by a Southeastern defense that turned two double plays and made a pair of spectacular catches (both by right-fielder Cody Gougler) in the outfield.
