Jeremy Elyzee has continued to spearhead Southeastern's offense with solid performances this week. The sophomore posted 19 points against Northwestern State with five rebounds, two assists and two steals at home. Elyzee followed up with 17 points and seven rebounds in SLU's thrilling overtime victory over HCU on the road to secure its first conference win of the season. The Miami, Fla. native gained his seventh game in double-figures to contribute to the victory while knocking down crucial free throws down the stretch to seal the deal in overtime. Elyzee finished shooting 5-10 from the field and 7-9 from the free-throw line against HCU. The forward stands averaging 18.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game while finishing 55.0 percent from the field and 70.0 percent from the charity stripe in league play. Elyzee leads the Lions in scoring, averaging 12.1 points per game, while also leading the charge in assists (22), steals (15) and blocks (8) so far this season.
