Proctor picked up his team-high ninth sack in SLU's NCAA FCS playoffs first round contest versus Illinois State. Proctor's sack total is tied for the second-highest single-season total in program history. Earlier in the week, Proctor was named a finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award, presented to the FCS national defensive player of the year. Proctor is the fifth player in program history to be named a Buck Buchanan Award finalist. He was also named Southland Conference Player of the Year, becoming the first defensive player in program history and sixth defensive player in conference history to be named SLC Player of the Year.
