Hemschemeir returned after missing several games due to injury and helped fuel a 2-1 showing for the Lions at the Live Oak Bank Classic in Wilmington, N.C. He closed out the tournament with a 19-point showing on 5-for-5 shooting from behind the arc in a 69-65 win over Navy.
