Johnson was named the Southland Conference Tournament MVP after helping Southeastern to the SLC Tournament title. The senior first baseman hit a walk-off three-run home run in an 8-7 championship game victory over UIW that propelled SLU to its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance.
