Hamilton finished second in the triple jump at the prestigious Texas Relays. Hamilton's moment came in Southeastern's final event of the day. Down to his third, and final, jump of regulation, Hamilton would leap himself atop the leaderboard with a leap of 15.45 meters (50'8.25"), the longest he's jumped in the triple jump competition as a Lion. That performance would earn him the silver medal.
