The Covington, Louisiana native led all players with 15 tackles (eight solo) in the season opener at Mississippi State. The tackle total was the most in a game by a Southeastern defender since former Lion Alexis Ramos was credited with 16 tackles in the 2020 (Spring 2021) season finale at Southern Illinois.
