Giaratano was named the Southland Conference Tournament MVP after helping the Lady Lions win their first SLC Tournament title and clinch the program's first-ever berth in the NCAA Tournament. In Wednesday's 60-58 overtime win over Texas A&M-Commerce in the semifinals, she sank the game-winner with 0.4 seconds remaining. She added 15 points in Thursday's 66-57 championship game win over Lamar.
