Pierre scored 17 points in SLU's 66-45 win at HCU Wednesday to help the Lady Lions secure its first-ever Southland Conference regular season championship and a bye into the semifinals as the top seed of the Jersey Mike's 2023 Southland Conference Women's Basketball Championships presented by Louisiana Travel. The freshman from Springfield, Louisiana was named to the SLC All-Defensive Team Friday.
