2012 (Junior): Hit .256 for the season with three doubles, a triple and nine RBIs … strong play down the stretch earned him a starting job … led the team in hitting (.380) during the final month of the season had five multi-hit games in May, including a pair of three-hit games against McNeese State (5/18) and Central Arkansas (5/23) … seven outfield assists led the ballclub … threw out a pair of runners against McNeese State (5/18).

2011 (Sophomore): Hit .250 for the season with one double … stole a pair of bases … most used Lion sub … appeared in 16 games off the bench and started one game … 1-for-1 with a run scored at Central Arkansas (March 27) … 1-for-4 with a run scored against UNO (March 30) … 1-for-1 against Stephen F. Austin (May 13).

2010 (Freshman): Hit .308 for the season with 10 runs scored and four RBI … went 3-for-7 (.429) as a pinch hitter … walked twice and drove in a run against Eastern Illinois in first collegiate start … picked up first collegiate hit against Mississippi State … went 0-for-2 at the plate, but walked three times, scored three runs and picked up an RBI against Jackson State … 1-for-1 with a double and two RBI against Alcorn State.

High School: Named the District 9-3A Co-Most Valuable Player as a senior at St. Charles Catholic High School … named Class 3A First-Team All-State after posting a .441 batting average … helped the Comets to a 27-6-1 record and a berth in the Class 3A state title game … a four-year letterwinner in baseball and 2009 team captain … also lettered in football for three years at SCC.

Personal: Born in Baton Rouge, La. … the son of Nolan and Mary Ann Marse … has two sisters, Lindsey and Brittany, both Southeastern graduates … majoring in Industrial Technology.
