HOUSTON, Texas – Southeastern Louisiana senior
Harry Wiggins and freshman
Grant O'Callaghan both set personal bests at the J. Fred Duckett Twilight held on the Rice University campus on Saturday.
O'Callaghan came in third in the 1,500 meters in 3 minutes, 55.96 seconds, nearly two minutes faster than his previous best time.
Wiggins took .30 seconds off his previous best in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in finishing 11
th in 9:33.97.
Junior
Clarissa Smith, running unattached, was third in the women's 3,000 steeplechase in 11:29.45.
Southeastern will compete in the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational Saturday at Northwestern State's Walter P. Ledet Track Complex.
