AUSTIN, Texas – Southeastern Louisiana senior
Andre Colebrook grabbed a fifth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles at the 90th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, presented by Spectrum, Friday night at the University of Texas' Mike A. Myers Stadium.
Colebrook finished in 51.25 seconds, just behind his personal best of 51.11 set in the preliminaries on Thursday.

Ashley Riley qualified second for Saturday's final with a time of 3 minutes, 9.47 seconds.
Track events start off Saturday's final-day action at 8:15 a.m., with the field events starting at 9:30 a.m.

Senior
Collin Rowland placed 12
th in the javelin with a mark of 207 feet, 3 inches. Junior Cliff Resais set a personal best in finishing 20
th in the first round of the 100 meters in 10.47 seconds on Friday. Sophomore
Marcell Kecskemety just missed qualifying for the shot put "B" section finals, coming in 10
th in the preliminaries at 51-8.25.
Joining the 4x400 relay in Saturday's action will be junior
Devin King, the reigning meet champion in the pole vault; senior
Alex Young, coming off a school record in winning the hammer throw on Thursday, in the shot put; and freshman
Ashley Davis in the women's shot put.
Southeastern also competed in the inaugural Mississippi College Mike McMillan Invitational in Clinton, Mississippi on Friday, setting a number of personal bests.
Senior
Harry Wiggins ran a career-best 9:34.27 in winning the 3,000 steeplechase. Also coming away with victories for the Lions were senior
Alex Holden in the 1,500 (4:07.73); sophomore
Michael Seither in the hammer throw (51.15 meters); senior
Julian Maze in the triple jump (14.91 m); and freshman
Alex Bertrand in the javelin (47.64 m). Seither also placed third in the shot put (13.75 m).
Freshman
Grant O'Callaghan came in second in the 800 in a career-best 1:55.57. Sophomore
Tajh Lewis set a personal best of 4:11.10 in taking third in the 1,500. Freshman
Justin Taylor ran a personal-best 14.97 in finishing third in the 110 hurdles. And senior
Dantrayl Sanders set a PR in placing eighth in the 200 in 22.09 while also finishing sixth in the 100 (10.93).
Senior
Stephen Cassingham was third in the 5,000 (16:40.72), junior
Brandon Hollier took third in the pole vault (3.95 m) and senior
Steven Barze was fourth in the long jump (6.97 m) and sixth in the high jump (1.90 m). The 4x400 relay of Lewis, Taylor, junior
Albert Martinez and freshman Gerald Colman took third in 3:16.29.
For the Lady Lions, senior
Kaelynn Smith win the 200 in a personal-best 24.59. Sophomore
Jaslyn Bowman also had a PR (24.88) in taking second with sophomore
Aareion Jackson third (24.98) and junior
Daijah Washington sixth (25.53).
Washington earlier won the 100 in 11.99. Smith was third (12.00), Bowman fifth (PR 12.07) and Jackson eighth (12.25). Washington, Jackson, Smith and Bowman also won the 4x100 in 45.95.
Junior
Natalia Redondo captured the hammer throw at 52.63 meters.
Senior
Addison Martinez placed second in the pole vault (3.53 m). Freshman
Ebony Hills was also second in the 100 hurdles (14.72) with freshman
Ayaunee Williams third (14.27) and sophomore
Raven Davis fifth (PR 15.13). Freshman
Lill-Ann Hochkeppler, in her first time running the 400 hurdles, was second in 1:05.02. Hills took fifth (1:05.92), Williams sixth (PR 1:08.33) and Davis ninth (1:09.76).
"(Head) coach (Sean) Brady had talked to the kids earlier this week about this being a meet we had gone to in the past that's kind of low-key and gives us a good opportunity to come in with no pressure and compete very well," Southeastern assistant coach
Amin Nikfar said. "And that's exactly what they did. Everybody responded and there were personal bests all over the board which was really good."
