HAMMOND – The two-time reigning Southland Conference champion Southeastern Louisiana football team's home game versus Lamar has been moved up two days to Thursday, October 1.
The game has been moved to Thursday due to being picked up as part of the Southland's television package. Further details will be available when the league releases its full broadcast schedule in the coming weeks.
The game versus Lamar will be one of three Thursday contests on the SLU schedule. The Lions will open the regular season on Thursday, Sept. 1 at Southland foe Northwestern State and host Nicholls on Thursday, Nov. 19 in the regular season finale.
The 2015 Lions will open fall practice on Aug. 2 to begin preparations for the opener at the Demons. Season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by contacting the Southeastern Athletics Ticket Office at (985) 549-5466.
