Fayetteville, Arkansas – Two members of the Southeastern Louisiana University cross country teams competed in the 2014 NCAA South Central Cross Country Regional in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Friday.
In the women's 6k race,
Celia Zaeringer wrapped up her impressive freshman season with a 60
th place finish. Turning in a time of 22:01.6, she ran the tenth-best freshman time in the event.
"Celia did great for coming in as a freshman," said volunteer assistant coach
Brandon Chapoton. "She handled the cold well."
On the men's side,
Harry Wiggins turned in a mark of 32:08.4 in the men's 10k event. The junior placed 96
th.
"We are happy with the way both of them competed," said Chapoton. "It was a long season for them both and we can't wait to see what they do next year."
