HAMMOND – The Southeastern Louisiana University football team announced its fall camp schedule on Thursday as it prepares for its first season under head coach
Ron Roberts.
Southeastern reports for fall practice on July 31 before hitting the field for the first time on Aug. 1 at 4:50 p.m. The Lions, who open the season on Sept. 1 at SEC newcomer Missouri, are scheduled to conduct three scrimmages during camp – the first on Aug. 11 at 6:50 p.m. in Strawberry Stadium. All practices are open to the public.
Southeastern is also scheduled to conduct scrimmages on Aug. 18 and 23 in Strawberry Stadium. The Aug. 23 scrimmage is designated as “Student Night” where all Southeastern students can show their support for the Lions.
The Lions will have their annual Fan Day on Aug. 17 from 6-8 p.m. in downtown Hammond as part of “Hot August Night.”
