2011 Southeastern Football Media Guide

The 2011 Southeastern Louisiana University football media guide is now available on the football page on LionSports.net.

The 148-page book, which is produced by Matt Sullivan and Kemmler Chapple in the Southeastern Athletic Media Relations Office, features bios on all Southeastern players and coaches, along with opponent's information, Southeastern's football history and records, the 2011 outlook and additional media information.

All-America candidate Simmie Yarborough on the cover. In the background on the front cover is the 1930 football team, the first squad at Southeastern, along with legendary coach Stan Galloway, Hall of Fame running back Horace Belton and the undefeated 1946 team that went 9-0.

The Lions' 2011 schedule is featured on the inside cover with photos of seniors Josh Penton, Brandon Collins, Devin Boutwell and Kory Theodore with a photo from the 2011 Division I National Championship game in the background.

On the inside back cover, some of Southeastern's facilities are highlighted, including the Ray A. Naquin Strength and Conditioning Center, the Dick and Glory Sharp Academic Center and the Claude Penn and George Lockhart Football Locker Room. Also shown is a rendering of the new artificial turf that will be installed prior to the 2012 season.
