Lehrmann’s induction brings the total of baseball SLU Athletics Hall of Fame inductees to 17. He is the first former baseball student-athlete to be inducted into the Hall of Fame since Wade Miley in 2014.

Lehrmann pitched for the Lions from 1976-78 and still holds the school’s career record with 25 wins. He led SLU in strikeouts in each of his three seasons and ranks ninth in school history with 230 career strikeouts. An ABCA All-Region selection in 1978, he posted a 10-3 record and helped the Lions to the 1978 Gulf South Conference crown.

A two-time All-GSC first team selection, Lehrmann led Southeastern with seven wins in 1977 and posted a team-low 1.99 earned run average in 1976.
