Huey Husser, a four-year starter for Southeastern and member of three Gulf States Conference championship squads, was considered one of the top receivers in the nation throughout his career. Over the span of his career, Husser caught 60 passes for 861 yards and 15 touchdowns. The three-time All-GSC selection is one of two players in school history to lead the team in receiving all four years. Husser signed with the Chicago Cardinals after his Southeastern career. Husser passed away in May 2019.
