Harold Owens was one of the first true greats in Southeastern basketball history. As a senior, Owens led the team with 14.0 points per game. He followed Aubrey Cole and was the second basketball only player inducted into the Hall of Fame after earning all-Gulf States Conference honors in 1949-50.
