Don Wilson averaged 15.2 points per game over his four-year Lion career and had a career-best average of 18.9 points per contest as a junior. He is among the school's career leaders in scoring, free throws made and free throw percentage. He was an all-Gulf States Conference selection in 1966 and was inducted into the Louisiana Association of Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame in 1997. He also coached the Southeastern men's basketball team from 1990-92.
