Southeastern’s Male Athlete of the Year for the 1993-94 season, David Bennett was a three-time All-American and three-time NCAA qualifier in the long jump. His leap of 25-4 set an indoor school record and had a person outdoor best of 25-10 ¾. He was a member of the Lions 4 x 100 meter relay team that set a then school record.
