Southeastern Louisiana University Athletics

The only men's basketball All-American, C.A. Core was a two-time NAIA All-American and was also on the Associated Press small college All-American team in 1966-67. Entering the 2009-2010 season, he is Southeastern's career leader in scoring with 2,046 points and rebounding with 1,475 boards. He also holds the single season school marks for scoring average (22.3) and rebounding average (18.5). A member of the Louisiana Assocaiton of Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame, Core is the only men's basketball player to have his number retired.
