Brock Hebert was the 2011-12 SLU Male Athlete of the Year and starred on the baseball diamond for the Lions from 2010-12. He was a consensus All-American, as well as the Southland Conference Player and Hitter of the Year in his final season. A 14th round selection by the Seattle Mariners in the Major League Baseball draft, he led the Southland with a .374 batting average, 58 runs and 36 stolen bases. He was twice named to the All-Southland Conference and All-Louisiana teams. The standout second baseman finished his Southeastern career in the program’s top 10 with 150 runs, 45 doubles, 213 hits and 70 stolen bases.
