Anne Bauer started on the volleyball court as the Lady Lions setter and directed one of the greatest four-year periods in Southeastern athletic history, helping the Lady Lions to a 106-49 record and four Trans American Athletic Conference Western Divisioin titles. She finished her career as the Lady Lions all-time leader in assists and held three single season marks.
A three-time all-TAAC selection and the 1996-97 Southeastern Female Athlete of the Year directed an offense that included fellow Hall of Fame members Christie Mikolajcheck and Darci Starr to a school record 28 wins in both 1995 and 1996. She played a key role in Southeastern school record 25-match win streak in 1996 and earned the Lady Lions in the American Volleyball Coaches Association regional polls.
