Albie Reisz was one of the first two-sport star athletes in Southeastern history who gained all-conference recognition. Reisz was one of the four original Hall of Fame members. An honorable mention All-American in football and a two-time All-Conference selection in basketball, Reisz went on to play in the NFL for four years. He was an outstanding passer and runner is was credited with an interception return of 103 yards against Memphis in 1941, believed to be the longest play in Southeastern history.
