HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University football coach
Ron Roberts will be one of three NCAA Division I head coaches participating in the 50th annual Gulf Coast Coaching Clinic scheduled for Feb. 13-15 at Beau Rivage in Biloxi, Miss.
Roberts, who completed his first season at Southeastern in 2012, will be joined by Louisiana-Lafayette head coach Mark Hudspeth and new Southern Miss coach Todd Monken. Other collegiate coaches scheduled to speak at the clinic include LSU assistants Brick Haley and Corey Raymond along with Ole Miss assistant Matt Luke.
Roberts will give a presentation on “Defending the Spread Offense” on Thursday at 4 p.m. before concluding on Friday with a presentation on “Goal Line Offense and Doing the Unexpected” at 9 a.m.
