HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University quarterback
Nathan Stanley has been selected to play in the second annual Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game in Tucson, Ariz.
The game, which is a showcase for draft eligible college seniors, will be played Friday at Tucson's Kino Stadium and can be seen at 8 p.m. CST on ESPN3 and WatchESPN.com.
In his first year as a starter, Stanley threw for 1,952 yards and nine touchdowns in helping Southeastern to a 5-6 record and a 5-2 mark in the Southland Conference. The former Ole Miss transfer threw for a season-high 280 yards against UT Martin before tossing for 247 yards and a touchdown in a come-from-behind victory over nationally-ranked McNeese State.
Last year's Casino Del Sol roster produced six NFL draft picks including the 98th overall pick, Gino Gradkowski, who went to the Baltimore Ravens. An additional 61 players off of the 2012 roster entered NFL training camp in July.
