HAMMOND - First-year Southeastern Louisiana University football coach
Ron Roberts and his coaching staff will take part in a five-minute feature this week on FootballScoop.com.
Roberts, who was named head coach of the Lions in December, talked with FootballScoop.com's Scott Roussel about a variety of topics including the move from Division II Delta State to Division I-FCS member Southeastern, the early start to spring practice, the differences between staffs at the DI and DII levels, and recruiting in Louisiana and along the Gulf Coast.
Later topics will include the new coaching staff along with the installation of the new playing surface at Strawberry Stadium. The second interview with Roberts is scheduled for Tuesday with assistant coaches - including defensive coordinator Pete Golding and associate head coach E.K. Franks - slated for later in the week.
